About this guide

South Shore Heating Oil Guide is an independent guide to heating oil delivery on the South Shore. It is published by Nimble Goods LLC.

What it is

The pages explain what the rules are, what things cost, and what to do first. The guide is not a contractor or a dealer and does not do the work itself.

The phone number

The number on each page rings a local business, not the guide. That business is responsible for its own work, prices and licensing.

Calls may be forwarded to reach the business. They are not recorded.

Who pays

Readers are not charged. A business that receives calls through the guide may pay the publisher for them. No business has paid to change what a page says.

Where the facts come from

Most pages list their main sources at the bottom. They are state laws and regulations, town offices, government data and manufacturers' manuals. Prices and fees carry the date they were checked, and the pages show the month they were last updated.

Nothing here is legal advice. Rules and fees change. Check with the town office or the business before you rely on a figure.
